Dear Student,
You are invited to join students from all over Northern California at the 2012 Northern California Forum for Diversity in Graduate Education, which will be held at San Francisco State University, on Saturday, November 3, 2012.
Forum workshops will provide information about: selecting the right graduate program; the graduate application process; financial aid opportunities; preparing for the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) and employment prospects. In addition, representatives from over 100 leading institutions will be available throughout the day to answer questions and talk with you.
Lunch and transportation to and from the Forum is provided FREE of charge. However, a fully refundable $20 deposit is required to reserve a place on the bus (your deposit will be returned to you when you check-in for the bus on the morning of November 3). Due to limited parking at San Francisco State University, we strongly encourage students to take the bus.
To register for the Forum, please log on to: http://www.ucop.edu/
The data you enter will be immediately placed in the Forum’s database and you will be added to the reservation list. Please bring your deposit in person to the Graduate Diversity Program office in 327 Sproul Hall to sign up for the FREE bus and receive additional event info. The reservation priority deadline is Friday, October 19, 2012.
I urge you to take advantage of this unique opportunity to explore graduate studies either at the master’s or doctoral level.
