As students at the number one public university in the world, we, as your student government, know that you and the rest of the Cal student body are full of passions. Our passions as Cal students range from civic engagement to higher education policy to sustainability to issues concerning our very own communities and everything in between. When someone walks down Sproul plaza, what that person will see are student organizations tabling for all kinds of reasons. Whether it’s to make other students laugh or to educate others on a global human rights issue or to invite other students to join a social organization, it’s pretty clear to anyone that steps on the Cal campus that we are a vibrant student community that truly cares about our University and our impact on the world. And now, as the ASUC Senate is developing it’s annual mission statement called the ASUC Advocacy Agenda, we challenge you to answer one question: What is important to you?
